Hi everyone,
this is going to be our blog for the WYD pilgrimage to Italy and Spain. We will be spending a week in Rome and Assisi before heading to meet up with 2 million of our closest friends in Madrid. The pilgrimage will be from August 7-22. Please keep us in your prayers and be sure of our prayers for you. Our trip to Europe serves as a reminder that our entire lives are pilgrimages toward our Eternal Home. Just as we will leave the comforts of our houses to share the faith with millions of young Catholics and our Holy Father on Earth, Pope Benedict XVI, we are all striving toward Heaven where our Heavenly Father awaits our arrival.
Our teens will be posting as frequently as they can during our pilgrimage. Please feel free to comment, leave your prayer intentions, or just offer encouragement as we travel. We bring not only ourselves, we bring with us the prayers and the needs of our parish...
